After an Overwatch 2 patch — what should I check before loading?

Community boards fill up after every Blizzard patch: “is it safe,” “status red,” “new loader when.” The useful answer is boring — read the Updates page on this site before you inject anything.

Undetected means the build we list is the one to load. Updating means stop — an old file is not a workaround. Forum posts, stream clips, and private messages do not override that label.

If Updates just flipped to Undetected, download or refresh from the delivery link in your order email, then match the Windows requirements on the product page and FAQ (HVCI, Secure Boot, TPM, and the rest).

If the label stays Updating for more than a short window, wait. Opening support with your order id and Windows version is better than guessing on random mirrors.

There is no reply box on this archived forum. If the loader will not open and the Updates page says Undetected, contact support.
